Zepoxy REH 416 is a low viscosity anhydride hardener with long pot life and low exotherm, making it suitable for bulk mixing and working at high temperatures. It also offers the added benefits of a low freezing point, low volatility, and low toxicity. It is specially recommended for use with electrical grade resins Zepoxy RER 528 and Zepoxy RER 527 EL, particularly in high voltage transformers and other electrical components such as motors, dry-type transformers, high voltage switches, line-output transformers, appliance capacitors, integrated circuit impregnation, casting, and winding applications.
